Bahrain’s National Day Celebration

Today we celebrated Bahrain’s National Day in an admirably decorated courtyard. Red and white flags were waved enthusiastically as the respected audience enjoyed a range of fun activities and diverse cultural presentations. Initially, the well-rehearsed scout group formed a fitting and disciplined parade as the Bahrain National Anthem duly sounded. Subsequently, several speeches were attentively listened to – in a variety of languages – extolling Bahrain’s many virtues. Another special multi-culturaltreat was provided by our talented students in the magnificent Noor Al Diyar Fashion Show. This was soon followed by a delightfully performed presentation – dedicated to one of our most important family traditions – with a celebration of our own unique Bahraini wedding ceremony. Consequently, thank you to those students who made today possible by taking part in all the wonderful performances; and, thereby, showcasing their respective and notable talents and skills. It was highly appreciated. Very well done!
